I have just finished reading “Blood Relation” Michelle McGriff and it was wonderful. I just want to know who does the proofing for these books (not just the one mentioned above), the grammer and spelling are a tad off.

Hostage of Lies by Maxine Thompson is as relatable as family drama. It digs through generations to unlock pain and passion, and consequences. The main character, Titi, lives determined to break the cycle of her family’s secrets that not only forces her to second guess her every move, but also threatens the stability of her present marriage. And that’s just a portion of the mayhem that’s bound to be recognizable to almost any reader who’s made it to adulthood — when this bright, attractive businesswoman returns to her hometown for a big family celebration. For starters she’s also there to find the child she was forced to put up for adoption when she was only a teenager.

Thompson’s novel heats up like a boiling pot as the reader ventures deeper. It teases and titillates, while, “…sin walking in shoes,” creeps to seek, devour and destroy. God protects. But just who will win and who will lose is anybody’s guess right up until the last page.
